Men's Aztec Mesoamerican Eagle Pendant Necklace with a ~3/8 diameter Mexican Fire Opal Cabochon. The cabochon has a fancy copper wire bezel that brings out the dazzle of greens, blues, and orange in the fire opal. The pendant has a 2 inch hammered copper bar that the Quetzel swings from. The swing entails natural turquoise beads and moss agate beads. The leather cord has sterling silver rivets on each side and no clasp at the end, you pull over your head to wear. Quetzalcoatl represents the Aztec Feathered Serpent God. This Aztec Eagle has been identified in AD 800 as the Feathered Serpent or Eagle King in Mesoamerican philosophy/art.
